A special edition of KAKAO with Macambo beans from Peru. (Macambo is also known as "jaguar cacao" or Pataxte in Mexico). 

This batch is a sacred union of two plants from the Theobroma family: Cacao (Chuncho variety) and Macambo. ♾️

Now available in both the PURE and BLEND , this edition is infused with codes that support the cultivation of inner union and balanced activation of your creative energy. 

Macambo is a white, nutty bean, a part of the theobromo family, with rich ancient history across various cultures. Macambo brings a nutty creaminess that is slightly "thinner" than cacao, so we recommend a higher product to water ratio (see below recipes).

We offer two ceremonial grade Macambo-Chuncho products:

PURE

This is a simple mix of just two ingredients: 70% Cacao beans (chuncho variety) + 30% Macambo beans, stone ground into a paste and then dried to scoopable flakes for your convenience.

Mix 5 - 6 tbsps + no more than 8oz hot water, ADD sweetener of choice, vanilla & maca optional

BLEND

This is our signature blend of Cacao beans (chuncho variety), Macambo beans, Panela, Vanilla bean and Chili, stone ground into a paste and then dried to scoopable flakes for your convenience.. All you need to do is add water! Mix 5 - 6 tbsps + no more than 8oz hot water

 

PREPARATION TIP: Less water is best for the right consistency. Macambo is a creamy, nutty bean that makes the drink lighter in color & taste. Always give thanks & set your intention with your cacao and macambo.

KAKAO is not sold as a solid block, but rather as a granular product that you can easily scoop.

But rest assured, this is Ceremonial Cacao Paste that you're looking for.

If KAKAO was left in the sun, it would melt and return to its original block form, which we simply chopped in a food processor for your convenience.

In non-summer months, it will arrive to your doorstep as a granular product that you can scoop easily with a tablespoon.
