How KAKAO Blessings Came To Be

In the early days, Makenzie and Michael were stone grinding cacao nibs and producing KAKAO out of their home in Los Angeles. Each time they would prep a new batch of KAKAO, a collective theme would present itself, most times within their union. Eventually they put it together, the Spirit of Cacao was using their union to highlight which energy and blessing would be of highest service to the KAKAO's customers that month.

As operations grew and production moved to Peru & Northern California, we wanted to ensure that we were still part of the process, actively blessing each new batch of KAKAO with powerful intentions. This organically formed into monthly batch blessings whereby somebody in the KAKAO team tuned in with the Spirit of Cacao and channeled a blessing that’s intended to serve the KAKAO tribe that following month.

Every month, all our KAKAO is blessed with prayer, intention, sound, and love ~ infused with the energy of the current blessing.
